Heaven gets christened!

It was a very happy day. Father Carl officiating  the ceremony. It was a christening that was long over due.

I hoped that FC would christen Heaven in Martinique, to insure a safe passage home. Unfortunately, the christening didn’t happened, even though he was ready to make the journey. It was hot on the boat and I became extremely busy, trying to complete the paperwork and repairs, necessary to bring the boat home.  I should have let him come, as the passage home was hell!

FC became seasick and took a French Dramamine, against my wishes. It knocked him out for 4 hours, and sadly he missed most of the party. He did get a nice nap though.

Even though we lucked out with the weather, we didn’t with the tide. It was so low, that we couldn’t get back to the marina on Heaven, and had to use the dink.
